Sold two bus tickets on my Convocation Day !

A day to remember; winter morning and sworm of beings in Black with a pinch of yellow. No, I was not in Antarctica and the beings referred here are certainly not penguins, although the ice cold weather indeed reminded me of them. I am talking of the freshly enrolled Chartered Accountants' Convocation Ceremony at Delhi.

And Yes, can say proudly and happily , I am one of those too. :) This is the day every student awaits to see when they enter into this nerve wrenching course. Through coachings where we spend most of our day to the heap of books with front page of each saying - "CA Seenia Thukral" - We embibe our dream all around us. It is a journey - of patience, failure, preservarance, frustration, happiness, learnings, networking, professionalism, competition, self doubt while also self confidence and to sum it ; a life altering experience! 

My day started with rising from refreshing lapse of rest from the train journey preceding day with my parents to Delhi; a city which defines my CA journey. The morning was chilly yet calm and we were looking towards an enriching day ahead.

Reaching the venue instantly gave a rush of emotions, being able to see my parents proud and happy was all I had dreamt of through this time. And it was time, time to receive my Membership Certificate, to get clad in the black gown with a yellow charm and endow on my head the Graduation Cap :) And when I finally dressed up and headed towards the hall to get convocated, it just felt right , all hardwork , the moments of uncertainty, those sleepless nights, the anxious mornings, with every step it was like I was overtaking all these emotions and looking them transform into happiness. 

It was time to embibe in myself the motto of ICAI and to take oath as a budding CA professional. 

With golden words of senior members of ICAI laying a path towards future, it all began. The words which not only spoke of profession but of individuals, of success and happiness which is personal; of sacrifices and blessings of our parents,  siblings and family. It helped look back to the roots, realise that it's not only you but a result of constant support and blessings of your friends and family. It helped  transform the happiness to happiness filled with humility and gratitude. Indeed !

And here I am, receiving my Membership Certificate and with my parents, living the moment I had lived for through this journey. 

Rightly said, when you are happy, you glow differently :)

With this, we marked it a day and headed to board a bus back home. And how could we miss crossing via India gate just a day before the Republic Day

Yes yes it is now that you get to the depth of the title :P We are almost there. So to say, no it wasn't that I was so full of happiness that I started with a bus ticket venture and made sales, not heading to shark tank as of now, May be sometime though ;)

So we were at ISBT on a night before long weekend in the capital city looking to board a ride back home, you must have gotten the vibe ? It was scarce !!! Everybody wanted to do the same thing 😂 and hence the fun began with me playing my chance in a queue to buy tickets. It was here that a gentleman behind me asked to buy tickets for his destination as well which being a helpful person I did. Only turning point here was that he needed one ticket while I purchased three for him and here my peeps, you reach the title. 🥲 Punched tickets cannot be returned and hence it was time to use all the marketing skills to pitch people from the queue going near to that destination, and yes we got the needed number of two ! Hushhh ! It was almost a shark tank no ? Haha! But yes, all well that ends well.

We got the bus, our two customers also did and then it was all about remembering the beautiful day and enjoying the journey. :) Collating all memories, it just gave us all a wide smile. Looking at pictures, laughing, talking and sharing happiness - that's how I would sum it up.

And to say it in terms of CA exams,  life might make you see many 49s, but just stay there - 50 isn't far ! It's right there on a leap of patience :)
